Billing Terms & Conditions

1. Product Condition & Description (Used/Refurbished Goods) By purchasing from Enerz.us, you acknowledge that you are buying used, refurbished, or reconditioned products, not factory-new items.

• Cosmetic Imperfections: Products may show signs of wear, including scratches, scuffs, dirt, or oxidation. These cosmetic issues do not affect the functionality of the part and are not grounds for a return as "defective."

• Performance: While all batteries are tested [and balanced/reconditioned] prior to shipment, used batteries may not have the equivalent lifespan or 100% capacity of a brand-new OEM battery.

• Images: Product images on the website may be stock photos. The actual item you receive may vary slightly in appearance (e.g., different label colors or casing wear) but will be the correct model for your vehicle.

2. Core Charges & Exchange Policy Many of our used batteries are sold on an "Exchange Basis."

• Core Deposit: A "Core Charge" is added to the price. This is a refundable deposit.

• Refund Eligibility: To receive your Core refund, you must return your old battery ("Core") to us within 30 days.

• Core Condition: The returned Core must be complete and assembled. We accept cores with dead cells, but cores with cracked casings, fire damage, or missing computers/wiring may receive a reduced or denied refund.

3. Payment & Order Processing

• Immediate Capture: Payment is captured at the time of order to reserve your specific unit from our inventory.

• Fraud Screening: To prevent credit card fraud, orders with different billing and shipping addresses may be subject to additional verification (e.g., photo ID request) before the used battery is shipped.

4. Shipping & Hazardous Materials

• Freight Shipping: Used hybrid batteries are heavy and classified as Hazardous Materials. They ship via Ground Freight.

• Delivery Inspection: You must inspect the pallet/package immediately upon arrival. If the used battery casing is cracked or leaking due to shipping damage, you must refuse the delivery or note it on the driver's bill of lading. Once signed for clear, we cannot file a shipping claim for you.

5. Returns & Refunds

• 30-Day Return Window: You may return uninstalled items within 30 days of delivery.

• "As-Is" Final Sales: Any items explicitly marked "Clearance," "Junkyard Pull," or "As-Is" on the product page are Final Sale and cannot be returned.

• Restocking Fee: A e.g., 20% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns (e.g., you ordered the wrong year/model). This covers the cost of re-testing the battery to ensure it is still safe to sell.

• Installation: Once a battery has been installed in a vehicle, it cannot be returned for a refund, only for a Warranty Exchange (if applicable).

6. Limited Warranty (Used Parts)

• Coverage: We provide a Limited Warranty on used batteries. This covers cell failure (e.g., the "Red Triangle of Death" returning) or computer failure.

• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal reduction in capacity over time.

  • Failures caused by a bad inverter, engine issues, or deep discharge (leaving the car sitting for weeks without driving).

  • Improper installation.

• Labor: This warranty covers the replacement part only. We do not reimburse for labor costs, towing, or rental cars.

7. Liability Waiver Enerz.us is a seller of used automotive parts. By installing these parts, you agree that Enerz.us is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including damage to the vehicle, loss of use, or personal injury arising from the use or installation of these used products.
